the staff was so friendly and helpful, especially with arranging transportation. i really enjoyed the architecture and the gardens (they are well maintained). my room was very comfy and tidy. I also appreciated the turndown service each evening.
the hallways could use some brighter lighting, especially at night.

I found this hotel possesses beautiful grounds. I appreciated the nice swimming pool. Staff are attentive to matters involving monkeys. We enjoyed the view of kites being flown.
I observed the room did not have a television. The outlets did not worked properly. The light switch was outside our room. Sometimes the stair light didn't worked at all.

inconsistent cleaningineffective ac
The room cleaning was inconsistent. It occurred only twice , which I found unacceptable. The staff did not seem to coordinate cleaning with guest schedules. I also thought the rooms were overpriced for what they offered. The AC was not effective.

The check-in area features hand-painted art, complete with a playful painting that includes a tiger biting a bum. My room was spacious. It included a sitting area and a balconywith great spaces after exploring. The bed offered much comfort. I ate at the hotel every night because the restaurant's food was very good. Breakfast offered watermelon juice and poha.
Customer relations could improve. I found the concern lacking.

Decent Stay, but With Noticeable Issues

slow servicemismatched room
The service was quite slow on several occasions. Drinks at the bar took an unreasonable amount of time, even when few other guests were present. Breakfast orders needed reminders, INCONVENIENT as I had scheduled departures. These delays made coordinating my day EXTREMELY frustrating. The room I booked did not match the pictures online. This was a MAJOR disappointment.
